Money management is a tricky subject to teach children.  I’m always wondering how much is too much to expect, what’s too little, and what’s just right.  I think teaching kids about money is pretty overwhelming!

I grew up in a home where money wasn’t really discussed unless it was to say we didn’t have enough money for something.  Since there wasn’t much to spare, we didn’t really discuss saving, or donating.

As an adult, I often wish it was something my parents had put more of an emphasis on.  These DIY mason jar banks are the perfect way to discuss money in an age appropriate way with kids of almost any age.
